At this point I would advise against updating to Win 8.1

Without Ogre running I'm sitting at 30~40 FPS.

As soon as run Ogre and I drop to 8~14 FPS.

I blame Microsoft....

Microsoft has a long standing policy against botting, I wouldn't be surprised if they released 8.1 just to mess with isxogre users.

Can you give more information, is this in combat, out of combat, what are your graphics like etc.

You will have a decent size fps loss, because there is a lot of processing going on, but it feels like you're getting more than normal.

Have you ever ran Ogre on this computer on an OS other than win 8.1?

I was running just fine on Win 8. I did update my video drivers after the last post and rebooted again. The fps loss I was seeing before has gone away.

Point of interest for you. When I loaded Ogre the fps would drop to 10 fps from 30~40. If I closed ogre my fps still stayed low until I closed the OgreMCP as well. Overlay issue? Not sure to be honest.

Issue was resolved by installing the video drivers again. Sorry for the bother. =/
