With the xpac going live tomorrow, and as we all start playing through the content, using the new AA etc, I'm sure there will be some feature requests.

As always, please do not feature request anything to me that is from beta. Things change, so please don't waste my time.

How to properly request a feature.
Remember - I don't play every single class, and I don't know every single AA by name. If there is an AA you want me to look at, please include the class, the AA tree, and where abouts (Example: prestige left side). Then explain to me what you want done, if it's not obvious. You should assume I don't play that class, so include any information that I would need.

Channeler - Once ISXEQ2 is able to read the dissonance information, I'll add that in, kind of like the BL savagery. I'll also look into seeing how constructs work (do they appear as regular pets, are they a new type etc. Unable to tell until the xpac is live). If you have any feature requests above these standard "support" implementations, feel free to list them here as well. Please note, I have not played a channeler at all. So make sure your information is appropriate.

I plan to go through all the heroic zones, and code each fight as needed. Like usual, you will still need to know the basics of the fight, but the code should handle the "extra" stuff. It would be helpful if people who have strats (from live, not beta) could post in the strat thread. I'll use it to help me defeat the encounters!

Lastly, all the new things I code will be put into the beta dll. As my way of gently pushing you to update. The reason why I don't want to force it onto everyone right this very second, is I want people to have time to back up anything they may want.

In short: Nexus, hive, high keep, high keep the pickled something something. While most mobs didn't require any coding, the ones that did, have it.

I only ran each of the above zones once then moved on. Please report any bugs you may encounter or feedback, please be as specific as possible, as I said I have only run these zones once.

Made Brig AA Dragonwrath range to 5 (same as shadowstep etc).
This being a generic scout ability, could it be implemented the same way as default for all scouts? Not that I have it specced yet, but possibly in future :D

  • I couldn't make any sense out of the other stuff happening on this fight, so I just ignored it and killed him. If someone has a real strat and any of it requires coding let me know.
The healer emote red text puts a curse on a random group member, who must either be cured very quickly, or joust away as he pulses very high AoE damage. For the most part it probably doesn't need scripting, but could be an issue for anybody who runs single healers and gets the healer red text twice (or more) in a row. Maybe a camp spot on curse.

First named in Nexus, on the run from first spot to 2nd spot, I often had a toon or 2 drop down into the middle bit and get stuck until manually moved out. Going back the other way worked fine. Could the navigation path be moved ever so slightly away from middle?

Edit - 2nd time through, whole group ran straight down into the hole. Wish I'd videod it :D

Scout ability - It already is generic. I was sleepy and just put in my patch notes brigand instead of scout.. my bad :)

  • High Keep: The Pickclaw Depths.
    • Bolgin Serillis
    • When he drinks too much and lays down, targets yourself for 10s, then re-targets him.
    • Everyone will cancel their spellcast when when drinks too much. To ensure no nukes land "after" he has laid down.
    • Note: I accidentally killed this mob before I could really test this. I'm not sure if 1) it even works, or 2) 10 seconds is enough time.
Regarding this part of the heroic scripting, 10sec looks like its a little short. I was getting 4 or 5 adds coming each round from the fail condition, right at the end of his cycle, so I'm guessing its maybe 12sec?

edit, also, it looked like pets were still attacking him when he sat down and were triggering the fail condition. Not a huge deal because the pets hit rates seemed to be super low, but my group runs 3 full time pets and it was enough to cause problems. The kill pull was done after turning off all the pets. Is it possible to code a pet back off into the script, or beyond ogre's limitations?

Possible features that would be nice for this class:

Channelers only have 1 rez, which is a group rez, however it only rezzes people within 5m of the Channeler. So a hard coded range change to the rez in spell export to make its maximum range of 5m.

Constructs appear to be as normal pets, or at least able to use them as pets in Ogre.

But another general feature that would be nice, not sure how easy it'd be, would be that if group rezzes are only cast if more than 1 member of the group is dead. For example, I lose 3 group members, and am left with Inq, Dirge + Tank. Dirge + Inq both ST rez the other healer priority, dirge then starts rezzing the rest of the group, but in mean time, the other healer or Inq, ST rez that person.
If it could be setup that group rez would take priority over ST rez when 2 or more of the group is dead, it'd be more efficient imo. If there is already a way to do this I apologise, I haven't figured that out yet!

I think your Grangel (Labs) de-target is too short. I think we're getting the tail of him and it's healing him.

Shouldn't be, this one isn't a timer at all. This one waits for his buff to be gone, then targets him. When the bot re-targets Gangel, see if he has the buff. If he's healing WITHOUT the buff, then that's a different story, and I can add in a 1-2 second delay on re-targeting him.

P.S. My channeler just hit 95... so I should look at these in the next few years... stupid leather pet class.

Humble request for not so ritch players,is it possible to get coding,when needed for advanced solo instances?To get etymas,patterns,gear for those,not able to run full teams yet.

At this time, I have no plans for solo instances. I don't have the time right now to get all the heroic/channeler things done.

And I'm pretty confident to say, the majority of people here are not "rich" simply because they have the ability to play 6 toons. It's a free to play game. Sure, xpac time sucked, but if you know it's coming, most people can budget $240 ONCE A YEAR.

And I'm pretty confident to say, the majority of people here are not "rich" simply because they have the ability to play 6 toons. It's a free to play game. Sure, xpac time sucked, but if you know it's coming, most people can budget $240 ONCE A YEAR.
I will be coding solo zones once I am back home. They will be part of BJ Movement/ISXBJ.

Clicky Items - Not really a request, but there has been some discussion on this is the past. You have stated you did limited testing when you added items to the ability list (and commented that items in general sucked) however with the increase in clicky items are you going to look at this in a little more detail to see if there is a need/reason to enhance the current item ability?

The couple of new clicky items seem to be working (eg, enhanced dps/de-threat clicky charms work in the named ca tab) so not sure there is a need, but prior to the expac I had the draconic-clicky-thingy for my tank that was not working (was immune to damage for a short duration) and I dont recall that ever being addressed.

Overall I think all items are functional within the bot right now. There are a few improvements I plan on making, such as not requiring a target for them etc. If you happen to know of one that isn't working right now, let me know, and let me know what "isn't working" about it.
