Hi does anyone know how too fix computer memory usage when zoning?
Meaning that when I zone my computer memory looses about 1GB at a time every time I zone.
I don't have a ati video card and am running win7 ultimate.
I also don't stream have loaded whole game,am running 6 accounts on one computer ,have looked and read many threads but can't find a solution,
is this just a part of using isxeq2 - ogre? and I have too live with or is there a solution?

I find that when I minimize a EQ2 session it starts to cause issues. Meaning I typically ALT-TAB or CTR-ALT-2 or whatever. But if I screw up and inadvertently minimize the window I end up having issues with that session... which later seems to effect all sessions.

Also zoning into Obol Plains and GH back and forth a few times and then minimize that session and try zoning again and the game basically stalls.

Me, I try not to minimize windows and I rarely have issues... though my wife's computer typically has to reboot after going from GH to SS to GH to EW to GH then to Obol Plains; Raid nights (basically going back and forth a few zones with massive amounts of items that have to loaded into memory and I know my wife minimizes her sessions).

I don't think I really said anything more than "I have seen the issue as well"

So if you zone 1000 times without closing sessions, it will eat up 1gb. A THOUSAND TIMES.

If you're concerned about losing 1 MB each time, then you need to do the work to determine what is causing it.

Find out if it happens without innerspace.
Find out if it happens with innerspace.
Find out if it happens with isxeq2.
Find out if it happens with isxogre.

I found this in another thread.

It might be the cause of my wifes issues, Ill ask her

"For reasons not worth going into - if isxeq2 is running, /loc gets interpreted as an abbreviated /lockforeground"

Doubt that's the issue, as isxogre specifically sets lockforeground to TRUE every single time it loads. Without it, no "key presses" would work (IE no movement) when a screen isn't the front screen.
