Abelbrow and Qaunth in Fortress Spire

Tricky encounter, was wondering if someone could give me a clue about how to tackle this one.

These two are giving me problems because they must be kept separated at all times and also must be killed simultaneously. I can set a campsot and have my dirge pull and tank Abelbrow with the rest of the group while I wait and peel off Quanth when he aggroes @ 80%. I can move him away no problems.

Dilema is trying to coordinate and shuffle toons from 1 mob to the other so the health on both is falling pprox equally. How would I best accomplish this in Ogre?

**Late edit**: Found possible solution on the parameters of the "Come2Me" button. Will see if I can fanagle this method to work.

You have 2 options.

Split your assists, 3 and 3.
Or put all your assists on 1 person, and just tab back and forth.. IE: Burn to 50%, switch, burn to 30%, switch, burn to 15%, switch etc etc.

Use the MCP to change assists.

The tab method would appear to only work if the dirge could hold her aggro which I gaurantee she wouldn't. If my monk tabbed to her target and started throwing stars at it, sooner or later a hate modifier would proc and he would pull that mob off her and wipe the group.

As far as splitting assists between 2 party members, I see how to change that option, but I still need to have the dirge (and the 2 toons assisting her) stay in one area while my monk pulls Quanth to another area (but all within healer range of each other). This is what I'm still a bit confused on, trying to maintain separation between the 2 groups. Seems I need two campspots?

You are way over complicating things.

Here's how you set up.
(I'm assuming the dirge is the other tank)

[Monk]----[group]----[Dirge]

Your monk NEVER changes off his target, so he doesn't pull aggro. If aggro is still an issue, turn off hate transfers to the dirge, and put any +hate you have going to the dirge.

Now with the above done, either put all your assists on your DIRGE (minus the monk), and switch targets, OR split your damage. If 1 group gets too far ahead, you can simply target themselves.

Thanks Kannkor :yea:

Worked like a charm. Was poetry in motion once I had the assists all set to the dirge and used her to control who everybody was attacking. Had the monk work his mob down to 1% then target himself and I barely took a scratch of damage all fight.
