First of all please accept my apologies for posting this here. I do not see an area to post off topic requests. If I missed it please move this thread there. I know this is not the proper section for this, but I really want to ask this question.

While I understand there is little support for this, and this has been addressed in the past on other sites by some people from this site. Would it be possible to create and iSX for SWG? Or is there one in existance already. I have not been able to find one.

I know the NGE ruined the game and all, but I have friends that play there and I would love to see some of these tools present in the SWG. Pathing and such would be very useful in the grind and such.

Please no flaming, just an answer from an official person. Then you can lock this thread and throw away the key. It never hurts to ask.

Yes.

No.

SWG is a broken game and is several years old. The latter of those two descriptors is actually the more important attribute that pertains to this request.

It is doubtful that anyone will spend the time/energy required to develop a product for a game that is several years old and has a low player base. Hell, EQ2 is a SUPERB game..and I have only a couple hundred people that use ISXEQ2. Frankly, even if I knew 100% that 200 people use ISXSWG, it would not be worth the amount of time/energy that would be required to create it.

I know it seems magical that these extensions appear and do all of the things you like for them to do. However, they are a MASSIVE time sink for me as a developer. When I'm in full blown production, it's at least 5 hours a night.

So, I will be spending my time/energy on new games, as I do not philosophically believe that old games should continue to run past their prime and also because it is financially an unwise venture. While I cannot speak for everyone in the world, my assumption is that (with the exception of the philosophical point that I made) most developers will feel similarly.
