Arena of the Kannkor! er.. I mean Gods...

I'm getting reports that every single named in here has identical loot tables, so there is no reason to do more than 1 of them.

Can anyone confirm/deny? (I realize this is different than how they work in contested zones, and I really don't care, I only care about the instanced ones).

Looking for people who have actually killed different avatars in Arena, to confirm or deny.

If the loot is the same, then I will only be coding 1 of the avatars (Tunare) so people can get the loot, and will do some bristlebane if he actually exists...

Ive killed Tunare, Sullon and Marr. All had the same loot, I think bristlebane is the only one with different loot table.

we have killed drinal and tunare with only forearm's and feet dropping anyone else get anything different?

The loot is all the same - boots/forearms/chance of pants. Bristle has different loot though.

Doesn't matter which of the 9 you do, the first one you kill in each fresh instance will drop the above.

There is then a small chance that Bristlebane will pop, who drops Mount/Cloaks.

Scripting wise, the easiest one to just do 1 coding for quickly would be Drinal. Its basically Tank and Spank the named, the Gelerin adds like normal Drinal, Curses like normal Drinal (Wait 10s then cure etc), and then one extra affect that appears to randomly kill one person every now and again and pop a doppleganger of them. If the person who the add is a copy of is revived, the add will automatically memwipe onto them and kill again. So while add is up, that person must remain dead.

pffft, Tunare 'coded'! Much easier :)

Anyone know if you get the reward / achievement ring (whatever it is) from killing the Arena avatars?

Wtb ability to kill contesed avatars.
Join a real guild on 1 toon.

I don't want to say "never", but I can't see me ever allowing anyone to kill contested mobs that humans want to kill. Shit, you see all the guilds crying any time they change how avatars work, think of how badly they would whine if they lost one to a bot raid.

What is needed to kill Tunare group wise?

Need 21 people to even make the thing killable in first place, so need atleast that.

Run Down:
- Don't let the add stay still for too long. Adds called A Toxic Lurker, they need to be moved constantly.
- Each archetype needs to stand with their own kind - all healers together, all scouts together etc. Stun/Stifle on Fail. Fighters immune.
- 1 Tank will get 2 curses land on them (Curse of Tunare and Nature's Pox), both need cured ASAP.

Apart from that, its got a setup command so I assume (Not tested it yet), that it'll do 99% of it for you. You may have to play the tank to move the add, not sure.

I forgot to push the set up command last patch, but it's ready now and will be out with next patch. It does the placement for you, but yes you still have to move the add.

Also, the named memwipes, so you'll want 2 tanks on her.

What is the motivation for 21 people.
Do you need the DPS to burn down the add , and if so what kind of DPS at we looking at?

Motivation for 21 people, is without 21, you can't activate the avatar. You can't spawn him, to kill him. An in-game mechanic that.... suits the contested world, but is silly for an instanced version.
