I've tried various profiles and none of them seemed to do a good job of casting the assassin stealth chain. I'm trying to better understand how the program prioritizes CAs to run them.
I see that there's a drop down list for invis abilities for combat arts. So I take it if stealth attacks are listed among the first CAs in the cast order, it's going to go down this list to cast them?
Here's what I consider to be a decent enough cast order for an assassin stealth attack profile, open to suggestions obviously. But also I'd like to think about what would be the best way of doing this. I've included the recast times for certain attacks / temps. I've just started playing an assassin again for the first time in a while, so apologies if any info I have is outdated. Anyway:
precasts:
charm clickies, if any
deadly focus
honed reflexes
frontload
main attacks:
torture
caltrops
exacting
shadow (1 min)
crippling strike (?)
dagger storm (15 sec)
dragon claws (1 min)
stealth assault (15 sec)
in plain sight / concealment (30 sec)
massacre (30 sec)
ambush (5 sec)
jugular slice (30 sec)
eviscerate (30 sec)
mortal blade (1.5 min)
assassinate (2.5 min)
fatal followup (30 sec)
FF's damage is increased by each stealth attack made and I'm pretty sure stealth assault still counts towards it (could be wrong, but even so it also reduces the mob's max hp).
I have a ? in front of crippling strike b/c not sure if it's worth casting still, the damage is decent but it's mostly have it there for the defense debuff it gives.
Anyway, the goal is to try to bracket the attacks with the 30 second recasts so they stay in the same order, and so that they mesh with the 1 minute (or higher) recast combat arts. I hope what I'm asking here is making sense, looking for specifics (like, maybe fatal followup being a post cast for jugular slice and everything after that, but in reverse order starting with assassinate?), so that the cast stack will cast in this order. I see many profiles listing assassinate first, I take it the program will then go to invis abilities list and go down that list in order to execute the next stealth attack?
I've also considered making the whole stealth chain so that it's named combat arts only, so these attacks and temps aren't wasted on trash mobs. Anyway, thanks for your time.
