Call for bugs / feature requests

I've got some time to do some enhancements again.

I'm looking for a list of requests / ideas / bugs / etc. Please feel free to discuss here, but adding specific feature requests to the eq2bot bug/feature list is a good idea as well.

For those that don't know, I check that list when I have time to do some fixes, currently the list has no items I can take direct action on.

Remember to provide detailed information on anything you want changed. Posting zomg, makes my casters nukez harder will get no attention from me.

Stating you would like the cast order for wizard changed to x, y, and z under the following encounter conditions (heroic mobs when I have casting speed x), will get attention.

A way for the bot to realize that a collectable has not already been added to the collection and the ability to immediately add it if it wins the lotto.
Perhaps also the ability to roll on the item only if it needs it.
Believe it used to have that ability but no longer does.

I can think of two quick and easy adjustments:

1. Inquisitor 4 peice TSO set bonus changes the Tenacity buff to group instead of single target and eq2bot can't deal with it. I've seen a post about it but didn't see a work around or update.

2. How about an option to use only Mitigation/Defense type debuffs?

I'm fairly new to all this and having a great time with it. Good work, friend.

While this is a fine a good suggestion, breaking debuffs between offensive and deffensive debuffs and selecting them independently, for it to be an actionable item, I need to know which spells fall into which categories for each class.

I envision there are offensive debuffs, deffensive debuffs, and potentially epic only debuffs, to provide the functionality, I need the breakdown of the spell names by class.

If I have to go out and do all the research, I likely wont have time to implement it.

I posted this in the wrong thread.

The ability to have all bots not disengage autofollow when entering combat. Essentially, leaving themselves autofollowing while they are in combat.

This would be a great general enhancement to eq2bot, simply adding a checkmark in the front with the other movement options. There are definitely times it's not appropriate, however there are plenty of fights that require movement throughtout a fight and shadow just isn't up to the task.

I motion for an "auto follow in combat" setting. Maybe a scroll bar with distance to follow.

Also how about the Y axis, if I recall the bots would not cast on mobs if they were to high on the Y axis. Only mobs I can think of this was an issue though was the bouncy guy in OOB. Maybe Aiden when he flies over head?

any chance you could add an option for calling out target assist messages if the toon is set as main assist?

just usual "assist me on %T" or whatever.

I wouldn't want it all the time, but sometimes it's useful

This from the Class Wish File:

+1 on the "target a toon not the mob" for assisting. I would use this all the time.
The bot wastes time trying to re-assist onto the next mob. If it just targetted the MA it could keep constant dps instead. Particularly noticable when PLing.
BTW, there are a couple other nice feature requests in there but none of them top my list like the "always autofollow by distance" and "always target through MA".

I am not sure where you are looking for bugs. This is a double post. Sorry.

I would like an option to ALWAYS Target the MA while in combat. As opposed to targeting their first target and attacking. This would be huge during fights with adds and specific targeting.

Thanks.

The option is already there, you just don't understand the option text.
You mean EQ2Bot > EQ2Bot Options > Basic Options > Assist and Switch Targets unitil 30% HP?

This doesn't always work for me at least. In a linked encounter like the first named in Crucible, instead of assisting the MA they are usually drooling at the stairs up the dais with one of the 3 linked academic novices targeted the whole fight while the MA is burning Aimedaca until I go and tell them to reaquire target. Where as if they had the MA targeted they would not be drooling with their finger in their ass. Even if the MA had targeted a novice once they should have switched to his target when it changed since the novices are usually at 100% health and not below 30% hp.

No luck here either. Mine still switches to a mob, then won't switch with the MA.
