recently there was an update as everyone knows, maybe a week or so ago, which requires to update the exe. Trying to load up ISX, it tells me to go and download the March 3rd, 2009 exe. I look and look, but only find March 2nd, March 7th, March 11th, and March 24th. Might be one more march exe, but my point is there is no march 3rd. Ive tried every march exe file and none will work, not only that, but my game crashes every time i try and load it up. Friends have told me which patch they are using and I have tried to download that one, but still cant get it to work.

Yes -- the time/date stamps are messed up on twonk.
For right now, as of the time this posting was made, you want this one:

If you put that EverQuest2.exe in your EverQuest2 directory and then use innerspace/isxeq2 using the method described in the setup installation instructions, it should work.
If not, then try the EverQuest2.exe from this link:
