Can't Interact

I've been using ISX for awhile now and haven't experienced this problem until recently. A month or two ago when I would open the client to bring me to the login screen it would open EQ2, load ISX, but when trying to login I could not interact with anything on the window. Couldn't click anything, type anything, move anything. I minimized and opened another program and everything was fine, so I opened the console in the client that I couldn't interact with and I could type/click inside the console, but still unable to interact with the screen itself. It felt like there was a clear layer over the screen that I could do nothing about. Opening normal non-isx client everything worked fine, the issue is definitely with isx/lavish.

So after a few hours of trying to correct the problem and being unable to find a solution I uninstalled lavish software, isx and everything and did a clean install. After the clean install I used everything again just like I had been, but a few days later I'm having the same exact problem. I didn't change anything in the configuration between when it worked and now so I have no idea why it has such random behavior. Sometimes I can login and run isx like normal for a couple hours, but then it happens again completely random. Any suggestions on what I could do to try and correct this? I couldn't find anything relating to this on the forums with an answer, please help!

This sounds like more of an Inner Space issue. You can see if there's a similar issue in those forums: http://www.lavishsoft.com/forum/

Try removing ext ISXEQ2 from the game startup in the Inner Space configuration and see if the same problem occurs without ISXEQ2 loaded at all, that will narrow down the root cause of the problem to either Inner Space or ISXEQ2. I personally recommend never auto loading ISXEQ2 regardless, and always manually loading it after the game has had a chance to initialize.

I took ext ISXEQ2 off auto load and that allowed me to login and such. I gave the client/game enough time to initialize and turned ISXEQ2 on and the same problem occured. Any suggestions on why ISXEQ2 is causing this issue? I asked some other people I know who use ISX and browsed lavish also and came up with no answer, any ideas are appreciated.

Are you sure that you're waiting long enough after ISXEQ2 starts loading before doing anything else?

I'm going to work on this to see if I can make it go faster; however, the secure connection (https) to isxgames.com is going very slow for some people.

You need for "echo ${ISXEQ2.IsReady} to return TRUE before it's ready to be used.

So yea, removing ISXEQ2 from auto loading will be helpful for now, and then load it manually and give it a LONG time before doing anything else. Again, I'll be trying to speed this up soon.

If the problem persists after my work on the connection speed, I'll have you install TeamViewer so I can see it for myself and figure out why it's happening.

Well I attempted to load up today to give it time to initialize before starting ISXEQ2, but experienced my main problem without getting to that point. Upon loading the client and nothing else I could not interact with the screen, I'm going to start it again and let it sit for awhile and see if it is just taking a long time to get going. I'll update later tonight, thanks for the input so far.

^ This definitely points to an issue with Inner Space. isxGames is not the place for Inner Space support. If I were you, I'd take the info you've gathered thus far and post over on the Lavishsoft forums.

Any support you get here on the matter would be unofficial and provided by other users, instead of by the actual developer of the software having the issue. I'd also recommend IRC support. Lax (developer of Inner Space and owner of Lavish Software) can be found, usually, in the ISXEQ2 support channel. Lax very rarely visits these forums, unless directed to a specific thread by someone.
