when i load eq2 using the innerspace "no patch" i see the script overwriting my isxeq2.dll file that i just manually saved. isxeq2 then unloads with the message of 3 march version.

I have reinstalled isxeq2.exe
loaded the .dll manually with the link provided

one of my two computers is working properly....I.e. when loading, the patcher script says checking isxeq2 and does NOT update any files....

is there a way to force the patcher not to overwrite my .dll file?

thanks for help!

I just updated everything again the patcher just to make sure.

However, the issue is with your computers, not the patcher/etc...otherwise, everyone would be having this problem.

It sounds like your browser (or ISP, or something) is caching the data from isxGames.com and the patcher/downloader/etc.. is getting something from a week ago. The isxGames patcher is in .NET and uses http, so it uses the same cache/proxy settings as Internet Explorer.

I encountered a similar issue last night, but only AFTER I overclocked my system.

Turns out, the date/time of the computer were ahead by 1 day of the real date/time. I set the proper date/time in BIOS and the software patched and loaded and ran fine last night. Just goes to show, it could be Anything...

I will "diff" my internet settings from the working computer. If I cannot resolve the issue the non working computer will be my new boat anchor.

I checked my bios times, etc... they looked correct.

if anyone else has seen this with their computer please chime in.....been using isx for couple years now, first time I've been stumped. (I have to be doing something stupid)

thanks for the inputs!

btw- i don't talk much on forums so let me just say thanks to all you script writers!
