Contested 6 Botter On Halls Of Fate Server

Hello all,

I, myself, am not a user of this software. However I have many connects who do.

Recently I was running fabled RoV with a friend of mine and we killed Mibble Toad. There was a 6 botter camping it called Painseeker. He started ranting, saying that he would get my banned by reporting me on 6 accounts etc.

Next day, he is still ranting in open channels, calling me and my friend scammers while I am a respected player on my server. I decided to report him myself. I supported my ticket with 30 screenshots of him harassing me and of him using ISBoxer and of him SAYING that he uses ISBoxer.

What GM Max "Remdag" Oakwell responded with:
"I killed Kennedy.

That's not right.

This player is not using ISBoxer.

Your account has been suspended for a week for harassment."

I am extremely upset. Not only that this GM is just a massive d*ckface, but that this guy actually got my suspended over killing a named in RoV contested is just madness. I also caught him 6 botting in there, I have a screenshot of it.

Hereby I ask to ban this player from using ISBoxer as he breaks the rules that my friend who uses ISBoxer told me about.

I can upload many more screenshots but I don't want to bother you.

Thanks for taking the time by reading and help me justify please! :)

Info about the botter:
Server: Halls of Fate
Guild: Shattered Legacy
Names that I noted: Painseeker/Zniff/Frostpain

PS
I asked him on a new toon today about his use of ISBoxer and he told me that there are cracks apparently so he might be using a cracked version... :(

And this is the worst kind of boxer/botter in my opinion. All toons with the same name theme, pain in this case. All toons with beast unleashed suffix as well to make it even more blatantly obvious.

As much as I hate to say it...

Using isboxer itself is in fact allowed. Radarx has posted on official eq2 forums saying so. However, to use isboxer you need a sub to innerspace which isxeq2 (ISX = innerspace extension) requires to be used. I myself use both but I got isxeq2 for the face command apart from that I do not bot in any way at all. In fact, I used isboxer for quite a while before a friend told me about the face command (faces chars to a mob which the game itself can do that however usually ends up with deaths so if you have a melee in your boxing team the command is quite nice). So while innerspace is required along with isxeq2 to use bots, the bots themselves do not require Isboxer. Nor does using isboxer automatically make you a botter. Note that innerspace does not come with isxeq2. Isxeq2 is in no way affiliated with lavish software ( company who developed innerspace and isboxer ) in fact if you were to ask questions about botting on the isboxer forums they would not react nicely and your post would likely be deleted and your forum account closed. I realise you will probably never read this I'm posting mostly for any other uniformed people such as yourself who do not know what the difference is.

I'm not am angel but nor have I ever used any kind of bot. Boxing requires you to be at the controls, while botting is mostly automated, not totally but you can do one or two things while the other characters play themselves. Hope this clears up any confusion other people may have about the two. Not that I also do not have anything against botters (I mean I do use isx )so I'm not judging either.

I'm going with you just added to the confusion.

You can't use ISX and IS interchangeably...
IS = InnerSpace
ISX = Innerspace Extension, as you pointed out.

Innerspace is the platform, and Innerspace Extensions add features. In the case of ISXEQ2, it's memory access. In the case of ISXOgre it's automation.

However, to use isboxer you need a sub to innerspace which isx (innerspace extension) requires to be used. I myself use both but I got isx
Which ISX?
Yes, I realize you mean you use Innerspace, but you said you got innerspace extension. So.. ISXEQ2?

Lastly, botting is not mostly automated (in the context of being away from the controls). I'd argue that 90% of all the software used here, is not automated and you have to be at the controls.
I'd say my best description of what we as a community do, is greatly assisted gameplay. (Yes, it's botting, but it seems the majority of people don't have any understanding of what botting is all about).

You mention you have never used any kind of bot. Would you like to test it out, for educational purposes? I'll give you a free trial so you can see what it does/doesn't do. If you are interested, you can just respond here, or PM me and I'll run a free week trial.

I will take you up on that offer kannkor.

And yes isxeq2 sorry for not being more clear was typing that post at 2 am and assumed from the context that people would know what i was referring to.

Most of what I know about ogre/botting is from researching it on your wiki and bjcaseys website ( I know his scripts arnt part of ogre but they do require ogre to be used for the most part, or supplement what its capable of) and your wiki. I've been curious as to what it can do for a while now which is why I was researching it, but wasn't going to spend the money to sub.

If nothing else this will enlighten me further as to the differences.

Pfft and I just gave you another $30 for my sub Kannkor while you're giving it away!

I disagree that ogre isn't highly automated. If the scripts are in place to deal with fight mechanics then it's very automated. Otherwise you have to move around but all your attacking is automated for you.

It's hard to do afk botting, even with crafting as things screw up, but you can do very little bar moving around of one character and all the others look after themselves more or less (if set up correctly and they don't get stuck in the terrain!)

In the case above, i was definitely referring to "afk".
