Hi all I have been looking around and am quite overwhelmed at the amount of information on this site and was wondering is it possible for me to bot 3 characters on 3 different pc's that will function together in a group?

Looking to just dungeon grind and grind some AA exp, while sleeping. The 3 computers that used tho will not be on a LAN so is this still possible?

I think I need to use the scripts eq2botcommander and eq2 bot is that correct? Appreciate any insight anyone can give me on this , thanks.

Running any automation when not at one of the keyboards is frowned upon , even here , it draws attention to the scripting communities and you more than likely will be banned by SoE.

Botcommander wouldn't work in that situation as it's designed to be used in a lan enviroment to make boxing other toons easier.

AFK grinding is frowned upon, however you could have eq2bot run from the other 2 PC's and control the 3rd and it would work okish. Since it's not on a lan you would have to create your own way to relay commands over via a tell to the chars or some other method.

huh? Why are yous saying that eq2bot commander was built for a lan. Having a lan has nothing to do with it... Is it easier to be on a lan? I connect to people in different countries to control their bot. Eq2bot commander (and really *most* relay commands) that people here use, are relay alls, which will be passed to anything you are connected too, local, and external.

Having said all that, this is as far as I go for supporting someone connecting through the Internet. As long as you have a clear path (depending on the situation, may need to port forward / open firewall ports) connecting is as easy as using an IP address.
