EQ2bot Troub Raid Script

Hey all. I'm currently using eq2bot to run a 2 toons of a 3box and am leveling a troub up to assist during raids. Wanting to get a feel for what the troub would be doing in a raid I tried to configure his settings so that he would stay near max range, only use his bow, and cast his debuffs. For the life of me though I can't figure out why he insists on running into melee range attempting to get behind the mob. I've tried every combination of setup I could think of and read through all 10 pages in this forum, but I have not been able to get him to do what I want. If you could give me a list of what boxes should be checked off in the bot menu I'd really appreciate it. Here's a list of what I'd like it to do in the order of most important at the top to least:

Jester's Cap Cycle
Cast Debuffs
Cast Spells Only (No CA's)
Use Bow Auto Attack

For something like that you will need to rewrite the entire Script, or better yet don't use eq2bot just write a script that does the few things you want.

Unfortunately I do not have script writing skills yet to be able to help you out with one.

What about breaking the movement keys so that the bot can't move?

You'll have this very shortly.

I've already re-wrote dirge for better raiding behavior, and I'll be getting that into troub very soon.

Specifically, if range is checked, it will just start ranging from where combat started providing thats within 25 distance, if not it will move to a distance it can cast on.

It also will joust based upon tells and raid chat triggers.

'dps in' will cancel ranged mode and go melee until it see's 'dps out'. If bladedance is available, it will use it and stay in, if not it will check turnspike available, use it and stay in, and if nothing is available to avoid aoe, it will run to its nearest non-melee healer and turn range mode back on.

Hope that works for you, cause its working fine for me on dirge.

That sounds great. Will the bladedance option be a check box? Cause me using BD when I'm not told to might be a bad thing. Also, you need any help testing it out? Let me know, I'd be glad to help.

BD is an option in that you can choose not to use the joust option and just stay at range.

I use it and tell my group I'm using it on the bot regardless of what I've been told to do, cause honestly, I'm busy playing another toon on this raid and otherwise BD likely wouldn't get timed at all.
