This is not a request for a external radar program, but simple a question of ... "anyone know of an external radar type of program, that can be ran from a 2nd PC, for monitoring location and whatnot of your in game char? (or even control very minor parts of your chars in game from a 2nd PC that doesnt have EQ2 on it?) .. that will work side-by-side with ISXEQ2 ?

Basicly, while i'm at work, I want to be able to either remote into my 2nd PC and see where my char is on my first PC while runing harvest bot, etc.. to mostly make sure he didnt get stuck or whatnot.

OR

I want to be able to run a small program on my work PC, that comunicates with my EQ2 at home so i can slightly control my char, mostly for geting unstuck or whatnot and see where he is currently located on the map.

I know that some ppl might flame this, as "asking for other programs, besides ISXEQ2" .. but, i'm not asking for them, i allready know them! ..just asking if anyone can recomened one for more features, preferable that they know has worked before.. side-by-side with ISXEQ2. thanks in advance!

You already have the tools to do this, it just isn't done for you.

Innerspace allows uplinking between sessions, those sessions can be remote, ie your work PC.

You can install innerspace on your work machine, and configure it to uplink with the pc at home running eq2. From there you can check script var's or write more intensive status checking scripts to run and give you a return.

There are lots of possabilities there, but it does require some knowledge of script writing, and some research on innerspace features.

Alternatively, there are some IRC monitoring scripts that have already been done, that I think might have some pre-built things for eq2bot. It wouldn't be hard to look at that and add hooks for harvest, etc.

As far as a showeq alternative you asked about, I'm not familiar with any for eq2. I did see some work towards that end several years ago, but I'm not sure anything came of it, and honestly it isn't as useful as what we have in isxeq2.

Good Luck
