Forced Patch - 06/07/2007

Ok ladies, forced patch day.

Run your eq2 patcher and wait for a new isxeq2.

The new extension is out, but for some reason it crashes after patching when it attempts to reload. Just start the game again when it crashes and all should be well. (If somebody happens to get a proper crash report in a debugger by all means post it.)

emm no need for that comment but oh well, i expected it... so is there any possible way i can download isxeq2, still failing to work when loading the extension in game, continues to crash and even on the reload

apparently there was. you posted in the first place, but provided no info whatsoever, so there was zero chance of anybody giving you any help whatsoever. unless you were just saying in-effect "love me!", in which case my response was even more apt.

i'll TRY to answer this, but as a heads-up: if you use grammatical english and include such information as what exactly you're doing that's "failing to work" or where/when you're crashing, any answer given is far more likely to address your issue.

that said, isxeq is available for download from http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/ISXEQ2.exe detailed acquisition information is available (as always) in the stickied release thread in the announcements forum http://www.isxgames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8

if you're still crashing with that, make sure that you've fully patched your client (by running eq2.exe until the "Play" button lights up) and that you have the correctly dated everquest2.exe
