Forced Patch 10/09/08

Forced Patch Today.


Not sure what changed in the client, but it was forced this morning. Please run your everquest2 patchers and patiently wait on an update to ISXEQ2.

The estimated time to update is 12 hours.

Is there a chance that they would force it every single time just to keep you from maintaining parity?

not working on international servers?

Runnyeye was working fine on the 10/07/08 exe and wasn't being forced patched. As isxeq2 kept unloading I tried patching... still wouldn't match the isxeq2 version, so downloaded the file from twonk... with that file could not log into Runnyeye, server version mismatch.

Will go back to the previous everquest2.exe so I can log in but I guess I won't be able to use isxeq2... international server's normal downtime is about 6 hours away, perhaps the servers will be realigned onto the same everquest2.exe file then.

I would suggest doing a transfer to a US server.

Errr 12 chars x $50USD transfer fee... got lots of friends on this server I've been playing with for 4+ years.... I'll wait the 6 hours for the server update methinks.
