Makes it easy for you actually, you wont need to roll back your exe file. Patch like normal today and this will be the exe file needed for the next few weeks. Pop onto IRC if you want to know the minute the service is patched.

what do you mean by rolling back exe file? It not auto update?

Matts read up one post, where the person just installed everything today and it's patch day. So he wont have to roll back his exe to the previous forced patch cause today is the forced patch.

it seems to be patched, but the game crashes when trying to start the character. After selecting a char and hitting play, the game crashed.

I am guessing that you might be trying to run ISXeq2 right now? If that is the case you need to wait until ISXeq2 is patched. Otherwise it will just crash Eq2. You can find the most up to date information about ISX by joining the IRC channel. irc.lavishsoft.com #isxeq2. at the time of that posting, it WAS patched. -- unless you meant you should load isxeq2 on the login screen, and wait for the crash, and then restart eq2 and try again?
