Today is a forced patch for GU52.

Please patch your eq2 folders using the default launcher for the game and patiently wait for isxeq2 to be updated for this forced patch.

The estimated downtime for this event is 24 hours.

Was this build incompatible with Innerspace on test as well? (not talking about ISXEQ2, but trying to load Everquest2.exe through Innerspace itself results in a crash that doesn't happen if running Everquest2.exe directly)

Been trying a few things, and can't seem to find anything obvious to change that would enable IS and EQ2 to work together with the latest version. It basically creates the game window, then when it normally would rename the window to is1 it crashes instead. (tried editing defaultstartup.iss to not do anything, but it still crashes upon starting) Crash is too fast to attach debugger.

Is there any way to manually keep a previous version of ISX? European Servers are not being updated for a whole week and ISX doesn't work anymore for the old builds.

Thx!

Not working?

I just downloaded and installed both IS and ISXEQ2, because of yesterdays patch do I need to wait for a newer version of ISXEQ2 to come out? It doesn't appear to be working. I have the console up, downloaded all the latest scripts using SVN and I can't seem to get anything to work..

As others in this thread I also play on a non-us server and they haven't received the latest patch yet.

I managed to get it running by putting in something like 127.0.0.1 www.isxgames.com in my hosts-file, but I was hoping there was a better solution to it.

I saw over at the wiki page that one should be able to make a file called filename.nopatch but that didn't help... probably only works with the script files.

I've said this repeatedly throughout the history of ISXEQ2: ISXEQ2 is intended for US, pve servers. If you want the full benefits of ISXEQ2, you'll play on US servers..otherwise, you'll have to deal with the wait.
