Forced Patch

They snuck in a UI update that turned this hotfix into a forced patch.

So we have a forced patch today 2/5/09 and we'll have another on 2/10/09.

Please patch your eq2 folders and patiently await an isxeq2 update.

Estimated downtime for this patch, 10 hours.

As a new user - do I need to use the SVN once the patch to the dll is available or this is a server side patch?

You need to run eq2 and let the eq2 patcher complete.

After this, you can keep trying to load isxeq2 every so often, and once it is ready, it will patch itself for you.

Optionally you can hang out on IRC where you'll be updated the moment the new version is ready.

Generally for SVN I check it once a week or when a issue pops up or there's some great new feature I want to play with.

Otherwise you can go with the age ol addage of "if it aint broke don't fix it"
