Guilds that use Bots

lol... doubt it. There is such taboo around bots most people don't want "botters" around.. however, most people will pretend they don't know if it benefits them. Most guilds have people who 4-6 box harder zones, and people secretly "know" they bot, but they are valued members of the guild, so they just pretend they box.

If you were honest and open about botting, highly doubtful any guild would let you close to them, unfortunately.

My kids play my bots... well that's what I tell my guild when 6 people log on at the same time or drop off when the net dis-connects.

No one needs to know because "most people" assume 'bot' is just another account on auto-follow.

It's been done. They got banned.

Really, almost everyone I know bots. During raids I will if I don't feel like killing trash.

Were you involved? If not, how do you know? Do you have proof?

Merely a pet peeve of mine, drives me absolutely crazy when people talk about others when 99% of the time (in real life, and in virtual) they don't know the story or situation.

Me personally, I'd love to do a 24 man bot raid with 24 people (or maybe 12 people, so everyone 2 boxing). While many fights are mindless for a bot, there are some that would be tricky.

I'm sure there have been some that have been banned for doing this, but for the record I know of one that went strong for 2 years before he quit that never got banned. I don't think he ever even got a suspension.

Heck, not long ago at all between me and 4 other people we had 22 toons.

Recurring Nightmare is a bot guild that does raid content on The Bazaar (and then sells loot rights and sells plat for cash on livegamer).

They don't take new members though.
