How do i get Necro to give hearts?

Cant seem to get this to work.
Sent necro a tell "Heart please" but it does nothing?
on necro i have shard checked.
Also have characters in EQ2chars file.
what else do i need to do?
couldnt find anything on it on ogre page.

Any of the following will work for conj or necro:
need essence
Heart/ Shard please

I believe the last one is a default in profit...

oh, ok misunderstood Thought it meant Heart please or Shard please.

Ty is there anyway to not have the emote go with it?

Hmm must be when they use it or something. I havnt noticed necro giving him self a heart use.. how do i do that?

I've been playing around with this also and must be doing something wrong. I can type "Heart/ Shard Please" and my Nec will cast the dark hearts for the appropriate toon. It doesn't seem to automatically send them though. I have Shards turned on for all toons, I have request shards from... for all toons with my Nec's name. I have played with announce and turned broadcasting on as well. I put dark hearts in Power Heals and still nothing. Didn't see anything under Item tab to trigger them.

Any idea what I am doing wrong? Was hoping I could automatically send hearts from my Nec and have toons use them.

To confirm, your necro is giving people hearts, but they are NOT using them? What percent do you have use hearts (or shards) checked on the Setup tab? They will only consume these in-combat.
If that doesn't fix it, give me the exact name of the item and I can investigate some more.
