Howto Eq2Bot

I am having a tough time nailing down how to record paths for EQ2Bots. Is there a tut I could look at? I couldn't find one on the boards.

particularly, I can get the Auto roam option to work fine, but I am confused by the navigation recording part.

Do i need to record with a separate script for it to work properly?

Any quick and dirty step by step would be great.

I am not sure, since I do not use this function of EQ2Bot, but I suspect that the navigation you are talking about are the same as in this very instructive post here...

So If I want to record a dungeon crawl path, I:

Click start pather,

then manually add POIs?

And when I'm done I click finish?

I've tried this then I hit save.

When I try to run the path it doesn't move, the bot just says moving to auto9f734f938. For example.

Also where is the path saved? How do I reload it in the future? Do I have to record it every time?

Is there a way to run the bot in background mode sot hat I can do other things on my machine while it is running?
