Issues with EQ2Bot

Hello First of all let me say many thanks for all of your guys hard work it really does mean alot to me that you guys spend the time working on these programs for us all to use. thanks again for all the hard work ! ! !

Now to the issue at hand. I have been using this program its wonderful I love how it thinks and reacts in fights, its the best. Now the issue I run into is when I play in Nest instance I like to put myself in spot where the mobs spawn and run to the guards at the zone in. Now this is great alots of works to kill all night its good stuff.

Issue is Looting the program will attempted to loot atlest 1 mob, most of the time it will loot somthing and then stop looting after this. Now I have seen chests sit there and rot because the program will just seek one mob to loot somtimes I get luck and it will loot the chest but again leave body laying on the ground with alot of goodies to loot but wont do a thing about it. Now I somtimes notice this and help the little program out by using the mouse to loot. But the real issue at hand is its not looking past the Number one. It loots one item then stops anyway to address this issue?

Also another problem is that the program when told to Auto pull will automanticly attack mobs when its under attack or if somone in the group is attacked. But if you uncheck this box it just sits there and does nothing at all. Is this a known issue or can this be Fixed?

Thanks again for all your guys hard work let me know if I need to pay for any upgrades I like to do that 8) @ ! @ ! @ !

The only other agresive behavior I can think of that I'd want offhand is to assist another group member when the mob health drops below a certain value, and I believe this is already in the bot.

I'm not 100% clear on what the "issue" is, other than that the autopull checkbox actually works for you. :p

Describe (as clear and specific as you can) what behavior you want, and I'm sure somebody can help you make it happen. There's really not a lot that can't be scripted.

the issue is I am the MT, I play a level 70 Ranger and the program makes me go into Def. Mode. At this time unless I have the box checked on the 2nd page of the profile it will just sit there while my other player is taking damage. Now if I click the box Mid-fight it starts going though its little script and then helps kill the mobs. Now I turn off my De-arrgo spell so that my attacks and CA's get the attation of the mobs this seems to work.

I have found a work around the issue with the bot not reacting like it should by just keeping the auto pull box checked. I just wanted to let the progamers know there is an issue with the program.

I can not reslove the issue with the bot not looting 100% of the items and I have to loot all items myself if I want to insure I get 100% of the items otherwise it will loot just 1 mobs body or if there is a chest it loots the chest if its the first thing it loots otherwise it will leave the items on the mob, even if its gold or items does not matter it will let the corpse and chests rot.

All of these issues are being resolved in the next release.

You may want to try backing up your current tree and using the version in the 'experimental' directory on the SVN.

This is my latest revisions, and I've been updating it frequently as we test and flush out problems.

The issue with stances has been addressed in the new eq2bot core, however, the class files (ranger, etc) need to be updated to allow configuration of stances.

In short, setting the boolean var NoEQ2BotStance to TRUE in your class file Class_Declaration function will stop the eq2bot core from auto-assigning stances. Once done, functionality can be added to the class file to set the stance, or if you like, you can manually set your stance and it will persist until you die.

Loot and Pull code got some significant re-working. We're still tweaking loot code, but I believe the experimental version is now more reliable than the current release in this regard. Once we finish flushing out loot code, I'll prepare notes and release the new rev.

As always, I welcome any input into the bots behavior, bugs, wish lists, etc. And I give any request consideration when I'm actively working on the project.
