I have restarted the isxAion project and it is now in alpha testing. Although everyone is welcome to test, this designation means:
isxAion is only available for use with the North American version of Aion. It will be free throughout the alpha and beta testing.
INSTALLATION:
1. Download and install Aion (if you have not done so already.) If you're new to Aion, I suggest the TIAMAT server on the ELYOS faction. I suggest Cleric, Gladiator, or Spiritmaster (depending on which appeals the most) for your first character.
2. Ensure that InnerSpace is "installed" on the computer. The isxAion installer will need to find InnerSpace in the registry in order to properly install (place) its required files and utilities.
3. Using InnerSpace, select "Add Game" to add Aion to the InnerSpace launcher. For now, it is best to have InnerSpace use the ncsoft launcher if it will work for you. However, if that doesn't work, you can launch the Aion executable directly:
* Using the Aion Executable: Game Executable = AionInstallDirectory/bin32/Aion.bin || Parameters = -ip:64.25.35.103 -port:2106 -cc:1 -noauthgg -charnamemenu -lbox -f2p -loginex -noweb -nosatab -pwd16
4. Download and install isxAion.
5. Once you're in the game proper, load isxAion in the console window with the command "ext isxaion". Use login and password: isxAionTester
6. After the login & password are accepted, you will have to "ext isxaion" once more. The next thing that will occur will be a very fast series of console windows opening and closing as isxAion extracts and processes information from the current Aion client. This is normal and will only occur the first time you load the extension.
- isxAion is currently intended for very advanced users (script writers, etc.)
- No support is available other than very specific questions posted publicly in the IRC channel (which will be answered at my discretion.)
- No documentation is currently available other than the isxAionChanges.txt file. A wiki is forthcoming, but an ETA on its completion has not yet been decided.
