Loading EQ2 through Innerspace

Hi,

I have been searching the forums for two days, so I figured I would ask. I have two computers, both with XP. One computer loads EQ2 through Innerspace and is operating normally. When I open Innerspace on the other machine, and right click to load EQ2 (no patch) it does nothing. No error message, nothing. I did try the 5039.zip file, extracting it into my Innerspace, and still nothing. I have even uninstalled Innerspace, and reinstalled it, still have the same problem. This machine had been running fine until last night. Any ideas on what else to try?

In the innerspace "console" ..there is a checkbox that reads "Download development (test) patches". Try changing that box (either check it or uncheck it). Then, close innerspace and restart it.

Perhaps you need to run the development build if you're not, or NOT run it if you are.

I did try to run Innerspace with the box checked, and then again with it unchecked. Still nothing. I am not very savvy on this stuff, and I am not sure what you mean by development build.

Update:

I have been trying to get this going for a few days now. I have tried every suggestions I could find on the forum, uninstalled and reinstalled Innerspace, ISXEQ2, and Tortoise SVN. Now, I am able to load EQ2 through Innerspace, but when I try to log in, it tells me the current version does not match the client's. Please exit and rerun the patcher. I have the correct file from the binaries page extracted. I do not know what else to try.

This means you got the wrong file from the binaries. You got an old one that doesn't work anymore. So Everquest 2 is telling you to update.

Check this thread. Ama posted a link to the correct file.

Ok, I went to the thread, downloaded that file, and extracted it into my EQ2 directory. Which, it was the same file I already had extracted. I am still getting this message. Anything else I can try?

Just copy the Innerspace dir from the working computer to the non-working. Then open Innerspace on the non working computer and change the uplink name of the computer (Innerspace > Configuration > General > Unique name)
