Log out to desktop then have to restart

I can get 5 computers up and running no problem, run innerspace a bit, can swap characters, etc. Once I log out to the desktop though I have to restart my computers to successfully log back in. I get an error which i have attached. Once restart of computers i can open innerspace log back in and continue to do whatever I want. Its only if I log all the way out to desktop. Not a huge deal, more a minor inconvenience lol, but I'm sure you guys can see what i'm doing wrong lol.

Is it a eq2 client problem you might want to do a full file scan on eq2 to make sure you dont have a missing dll in there.

I'm probably wrong though never seen that error b4.

I've seen it before, but it would happen the moment I hit login, and cause a client crash. Then I'd just wait 5 minutes and log back in (the server actually thinks you're in when it happens, so that's why you have to wait.)

When it happens to me though opening a new session works just fine, it's just a random crash when it goes to login sometimes. It's just one of those things I never considered annoying enough to post about - I actually have several things like that. For example whenever the extension updates I close the session and reopen it because the game used to crash on the first zone line I'd hit. Nowadays by habit I just close the session and reopen it whenever I see the extension update, so don't know if that bug got fixed.

I've waited.. tried loggin in a different toon.. etc.. the only way I can fix it is to simply restart my computer. All my eq2 files are fine, as I can log in without innerspace running and have no issues.. so I'm not sure /shrug... guess i'll continue to just restart lol.. little annoying but still works.. thanks for all the comments.

The "as I can" part is throwing me off... Does this mean you tried what wolfppo recommended (do a full file scan on eq2 [default patcher]) or are you just making an assumption based on it running without InnerSpace?

I can load eq play eq, switch toons all day long without innerspace running. When i load innerspace for the first time it allows me in. I can then switch toons as long as I don't camp to desktop. If i camp to desktop, I have to restart computer.

When you camp to desktop and have this issue, open up task manager and see if everquest2.exe is still running in the background.

And have you done what wolfppo suggested, and patched eq2 with a full file scan? Are you running the streaming client (which is ass) or the stand alone client? What OS are you running?

Eq2 is patched with full scan. I do not run streaming... and it happens on all 3 OS's I use.. XP, Vista, windows 7.. i will try the task manager thing later on.. thanks for all the replies so far.
