I just started playing EQ2 again after about 2 years . . I currently quit Vanguard and they gave me a free account so i am boxing now.

I am looking for someone to help me start a script for an auto follow healer. . I can fill in the blanks and do most of the leg work there are just a few script writing things that evade me, anyone can PM me or just post if you are willing to help. I won't need weeks of your time just an hour or so.

There are several existing healer scripts out there. I'd wager if you looked at what is on the SVN, you could piece together what you want, or find something already exists.

I'm the same, boxing a templar behind me using eq2bot.

While the Templar script is not perfect, it does follow(spastically, but it follows), assists, heals...everything I need it to do.

Get the latest SVN...search it out.

It's not hard to setup, and after getting XU and the eq2 service installed; copy the eq2 bot and it's folders into the script directory and in game type /run eq2bot ! The class files for all the classes(bruiser didn't load one, so I dunno what that is about) is in the directories, and as long as you want a bot to follow you it's easy. I have not successfully made an AFK attack bot yet because the pathing setup is very gimped imho.

Click what you want it to do for the healer/dps class you have and then press the start button once you select the MT/MA/Follow pull downs.

i'll check out SVN and see what i can find. When i played EQ i created my own /tell bots that i controlled with my main. I want to make something a bit less demanding that does what i want without me telling it to. I dunno if anyone played WoW but i want something like the PB (party bot) that assists and scans all group/raid members and heals as needed. But that is a ways off i want to start small and add to it.

I am gonna do some more looking around and try and get more comfortable with isxeq2 and post either questions or a very rough script. Thanks!

eq2bot already does this and you can easily customize your own templar.iss or inquisitor.iss or whatever your class is.

Not saying dont make your own but why re invent the wheel? ... anyways holler if you need help or just look at what's already created.
