Looking for Testers/Proofreaders

I'm looking for testers/proofreaders to go through some of the new website material I'm about to publish and give suggestions/corrections.

If you make comments on content, please be specific and feel free to give suggested wordings (I might use it.)

1. Setting up InnerSpace (2 steps) :: http://www.isxgames.com/innerspace/Aquisition_Step1.html (Of course, you won't want to click on the links and create new LavishSoft accounts.)

2. Setting up ISXVG (4 steps): http://www.isxgames.com/isxvg/Setup_Step1.html

Also, a couple of notes:
- After the installation of InnerSpace walkthrough, it tries to point you to the ISXVG installation step 2 -- I've disabled that for now since it involves subscribing and I don't want people doing that right now. So, just test those two pages of "InnerSpace Aquisition"

- You may wonder why I have the user create a new profile and add the game to InnerSpace when typically it will automatically detect games. This is for two reasons: first, auto game detect doesn't work for everyone, and secondly, when it DOES work it creates a profile called "Vanguard: Saga of Heroes" which contains a colon ..which is bad for a few good reasons.

And, before I get the questions, I will provide a few answers:
  • Yes, ISXVG will soon be subscription based.
  • No, I don't know how much it will be other than it will be cheap.
  • No, this is not open for discussion.
  • No, I do not know yet when this process will begin.

I've got time.

I'm more of a editor/proof-reader. I won't find all the spelling mistakes, but I will find typical goofs, and often better ways to explain something; it may take a few more words my way but it tends to be very clear.

I'm not sure what you want in the way of testers.

Could you make it that those who truly provide helpful comments and such in doing this get a short free subscription period. It would be an incentive and in the end you'd still get those people getting subs because they'll likely be hooked after a trial sub after launch. :yea: ;)

naw ...it's not that complicated or important. If no one wants to go through it, that's cool with me ..I'll just proof it myself.

Oh, I'll still do a proof-reading of it.

I'll even go through the steps to see how they flow (kind of necessary if I'm proof-reading it anyways).

(Can't blame me for trying!) :D

I ran an End to End on your "Setting Up" pages and it looks good.

I see no need to add/change the verbiage. The only suggestion I could make is minor; I would consider some visual devider between steps. Like I said it's minor but it did come to mind...

I did not test out the menu or search funtion.

Looking good! I hope great Success in your project.

Once you have completed that form, checked your email and clicked on the registration link that was sent to you, then you can continue to the next step: purchasing a 90 or 365 day Gaming Tools Subscription. (Don't worry, it's super cheap!)

Once you have completed the LavishSoft form, you will need to check your email. Click on the registration link that was sent to you. You can then continue to the next step; purchasing a Gaming Tools Subscription from LavishSoft.
Never apologize for the cost of something - it is what it is. In business we charge what the market will bear and never look twice!

The installer will then begin the process of installing InnerSpace to your computer. Simply go through the process the same as you would with any Windows software (the location to which you install InnerSpace is not important; however, I suggest picking a location that is easy for you to remember and find with windows explorer.)

Should that not read "ISXVG Installation - Step 3"?

Will look at / review the next link later - will post thoughts.
