Make ratter auto align to safespot

Hi, is there a way to make evebot ratter auto align to a safespot/celestial while shooting NPC's in blets? It would help both with tanking and/or running fast when a hostile enters local.

This sounds like a great idea, the bot already has a align to function between belts but only after the NPC's are killed. Is it possible to use part of the code that aligns between belts to auto-align to safe as soon as you detect NPC's that are not on the "do not kill list"?

Aligning is only any use if you're also at speed so that you can insta warp - but that would interfere (on some occasions) with other functions.

Couldn't you set speed to like 2 m/s and do your align that way. Since you are still pointed, you aren't moving very fast and don't have to worry about losing alignment because you aren't fully stopped.

Aligning is a misnomer. What you do in-game is accelerate towards your warp dest. Where you're pointing doesn't have much of an affect on your warp time. So going 2m/s is only effective if that's a significant percentage of your max slowboat speed.

good point. Warping takes place once you hit 75% speed, maybe set the bot to align at 75% total speed?

Ratting Bot arrives at belt
Align to safe spot and set speed to 75% so that insta warp is available
Wait for rats
Rats arrive minutes later but bot is now out of range...

or

Mining Bot arrives at belt
Align to safe spot and set speed to 75% so that insta warp is available
Target asteroid and start strip miners
Two minutes later asteroid is out of range and strip miners deactivate...

Aligning for instawarp only works while you are still in range of your targets (rats or roids) which means you'veonly got a few minutes at best to dowhatever you want.

could you make it a checkbox option? For people in BS's / tengus whatever... the distance might not even matter ( unless you get like 90km away )
