I would like to bring up the possibility of having the writ count raised to say 20 or 30 instead of 10. I do understand why this was implemented to keep people from being stupid and crafting in the common crafting halls. This rule was made back when people had to craft in common zones with today's guild halls crafting is a lot more private. For this reason I feel that raising the cap to 20 or 30 writs won't bring the attention it once would.

In short I implore you to change the max writ count to 20 or 30.

To add, with all the AAs that have been added to crafting, you can now complete writs at nearly 4 times the speed you could back in the day.

If Ama doesn't read this in the next little while, I'll discuss it with him to see if we come up with anything.

This would be fantastic, I like having the crafting part of a toon maxed as well, and a nice private guild to do it as well.

Just a suggestion, how about disabling expanded writ counts for any other zones than the guild hall? This shouldn't be too hard to do.

Then again, while I stand 110% with the developers on using the bot not abusing it, not sure it even really matters anymore. Heck we even have a dev on staff at SOE now that boxes and has openly come out on the forums as doing so. Not sure they even really care anymore (hardly atypical, having used MQ on EQ since it was first available I can tell you with full certainty that SOE doesn't care one bit about boxers on older titles).

At this point it is more than obvious that they know what we do, how we do it, and where. We aren't hiding anything. Heck I am pretty certain we have some devs like the one mentioned above that hang in the Ogre chat room regularly. If someone is going to be banned or give ISX a bad name, it is because they are being a douche. And that will happen no matter what restrictions are in place.

Although, you know what Kevinshp, I was going to be vague because it amuses me, but you did spell my name correctly.
As per Amadeus, he said I can increase mine to 25. I assume he'll be doing the same for Craft once he has time. We'll monitor it and if it seems to cause any issues, will just revert it back to 10. Otherwise enjoy. I'll get to it when I can, so just watch the writ tab/patch notes.

I see you did add 25 to the craft slider bar but get this error message when I start writs and the slider is past 10.
No LSO or XML file found. Creating a new file.
10:27:32: OgreCraft: Loading custom save options.
10:27:38: OgreBotError: Please don't try to bypass the writ limit. It is 10 for a reason.
10:27:38: OgreBotError: Currently there are no ways to bypass it. If one is found, it will be coded to prevent it.
10:27:38: OgreBotError: For your evil ways, setting the writ counter to 1.

I increased the limit for everyone but you, because I'm evil.

It'll be fixed next patch. I missed a check.

I'm a wrench. Which is a lot like a tool. It's possible this was edited by someone to remove the actual contents of the post which were pretty silly to post.
