Mezzing with Ogre

Hi folks, I'm slowly getting the hang of Ogre now, but there's one thing that still confuses me, mezzing.

When does Ogre decide to mez something? I've put my coercers mez spells in the CC tab, but I'm unsure when the bot will use them. I've heard the mez noise go off mid fight on some encounters, and never on others.

Pardon my ignorance here but coercers are new to me in eq2, so I'm probably just missing something obvious :)

Is there a way to auto target a mob that pops as part of an encounter , if i know its name in advance, and have the coercer mez it with no input from me? Or can I use MCP to send a command to mez a specific mob?

With the CC tab enabled and filled out, it should mez any mob that is aggro on your group, that is NOT the target of your assist. IE: If your coe is normally assisting through the tank, it should mez everything except what the tank is killing.

There's not really any way of mezzing a specific target. I mean, there ARE ways you can do it with MCP buttons, use the "target" function to target the mob, then use the cast..
