Through our new detection systems we detected 2350 accounts as using a specific hack, “Autopilot to zero”, which is strictly against our EULA, as it is only possible with client modification. Our normal policy for dealing with client modification is to apply a permanent ban to accounts in question and any associated account.

Could this apply to isxeve? This is probably my most used feature of isxeve. Just curious if there is anything we need to worry about as far as them being able to detect its use with innersphere/isxeve.

No, there's nothing to worry about. Amadeus / CyberTech would let us know if there was.

I have said for years that the method used by most of the hack bots out there would eventually be nerfed by CCP, and my prediction is that they would nerf it in exactly this way. People have told me forever that I was doing everything the hard way -- and now they know why.

They said the same thing about how I did ISXVG, and I was similarly vindicated last year when SOE finally did what I had predicted they would do eventually all the way back in like 2008.

Anyway, it's not to say that the methods used by isxeve are 100% undetectable if CCP really knew what they were doing and wanted to deal with it. However, I can say that our method is different than most (not all) of the bots that are out there.

Finally, I want to point out that protection from things like this is one of the reason that I am very strict about being closed source. The less that is known about how isxeve does things, the harder it is to nerf it.

Nothing is ever 100% safe; however, I can say for sure that ISXEVE is just as safe as it has always been. When/if that changes, we will let you know.
