New to all of this - where do I start?

I just got the subscription to InnserSpace and the EQ2 add-in.

Where do I go from here if I want to setup a hunter bot? Is this even available? It seems like EQ2BOT is what I want, correct?

Any guides to setting it up for a complete newb?

For a "hunter bot" yes you would want eq2bot When you get in and have the ext loaded all you have to do is type run eq2bot in the blue (on my screen) window from innerspace (the one that you hit the ~ button to open) when it pops up it is rather easy. You might have to figure out how to set a path but there are quite a few posts on the forums about that. Other then that its just check what you want or don't want and away you go.

Its the best and only way for you to get updates....Use the script sapository...I mean repository ;-)

I saw someone mention downloading a different everquest2.exe file. Do I need to do that?

What's the correct way to launch everything? I assume you launch Innerspace first, then Everquest2?

Anytime there is a game update (from SOE), you will need to patch the game first, then download an "exe" from our twonk website. You simply copy the exe from our website over the exe in your everquest 2 folder.

Yes launch Innerspace first, and follow the setup procedures in the forum i.e. launch path, profile, no patch, etc. Then select eq2 from the drop down menu in Innerspace.

The best way of doing this is..

1. Only ever run everquest2.exe until when doing so the servers refuse to let you in using that exe.

2. Don't bother with automatic extension loading...open innerspaces command bar (`) once in game and type ext isxeq2 to load isxeq2.

3. If number 1 fails , run eq2.exe to patch your game . load isxeq2 using the command line as in number 2 and it will patch if a new patch is available or if it fails to load you need to wait for a new one to be coded (try again another day).

4. Repeat number one and two till it fails to start again.
