New to eq2bot, got a problem

So I just loaded everything up, got it all installed "correctly" and went to try out the bot.

upon using the run eq2bot command I get this error that eq2.exe doesnt match the build of isxeq2 and I should wait for an update. I see others posting about the bot but I cant seem to update my version by running the ext isxeq2 command.

can anyone help me out?

When you "ext isxeq2" you get this BIG BLUE SCREEN pop up on your screen... ... read it and follow it EXACTLY

I tried to follow the site it gave but nothing happened and if you mean wait then I can definitely do that, either way I will try again, thanks for the help!

Please write exactly how YOU interpreted the text that was in the blue error box. Then, tell me exactly what YOU did to try and fix the problem.

To me, the error message and the instructions are as clear as I can make them; however, it must not be clear to everyone. So, I'd like to know where the confusion lies (i.e., what I'm saying in those error messages/instructions that you are not interpreting correctly.)

Here goes

MY version of everquest2.exe doesnt match the build of isxeq2, this build is for the patch of 4/1/12. Go to http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/exe/ and download that, drop it into your eq2 directory replacing what was already there. Once that is done load it up, launcher force updated not sure if there is a way to get around it.

Since it force patched, gotta wait and try loading up isxeq2 so that it can be patched. If I need to wait its cool, that I can do but if I am doing something wrong help would be awesome of course

You should not be running the patcher unless the game doesn't work without it. The setup instructions for isxeq2 (that were presented after you clicked "return to merchant" after paying at paypal) is very specific about creating a launch profile with innerspace that launches EverQuest2.exe, not EQ2.exe.

Anyway, you need to either create a new profile with InnerSpace that launches EverQuest2.exe or edit your current profile. You don't want InnerSpace to launch EQ2.exe.
