new user, install problems (maybe patch?)

I installed Lavishsoft, then ISXEQ2 as per tutorial, no problems. Then I started ISXEQ2 by launching the game, hit ` key, entered ext isxeq2 prompt and after the all the patching it said: "Your verison of Everquest2.exe does not match this build of ISXEQ2'.

Is this because of the recent 31/07 game patch? Should I wait for the update of ISXEQ2 or did I do something wrong? Please advise.

EDIT: I got the 31-07 version of the Everquest2.exe file from this site, but it still says the same.

Also where can I get the bot files, like Harvestbot? Are they somewhere in this forum?

If you launch the game via innerspace (and it's set up properly) the patcher should not run. So, if you get the version of EverQuest2.exe from the isxeq2.twonk site, it should launch properly.

Otherwise you should read every posting on these forums under isxeq2 ..every posting within the past 6 months at least.

It seems to launch, but I still have the message saying that the version does not match. However isxeq2 is running.

I have a question concerning the types of files and what they are for. For the harvest bot I found the following files: harvest.iss, harvest.xml, harvestgui.xml. Should I place all of them under the folder Scripts in the Innerspace folder? Then how do I run the script? Should I type just 'run harvest' from the isxeq2 console (after pressing tilde)?

I tried the above (also got PatherGUI.iss file) and there is an effect in-game. A box pops up with harvesting options (what kind of ore, what path etc.) Yet I don't have any starting or ending path, it just says null. Any tips at this point? Where is the navigation file?

Wiki page refers to eq2pather file, but I didn't find it in the repository.

Providing you got all script files from the SVN as instructed, there is a navigation tab in the UI to build paths with.

If you didn't get the files from the SVN, try following instructions.

It's called eq2patherlegacy.iss now and is in the SVN.

The only way you have that message on load is because your EverQuest2.exe is not correct. If you download it from the link I gave you and put it in your EverQuest2 directory (overwrite the other), then it should be fine.

Again, when you launch EverQuest2 with innerspace the game should NOT patch.
