Odd issues with ISXEQ2 in the last few hours?

Edit: Updated the URL, and changed some of the text.

I believe Amadeus was doing some debugging, and released a debug version of isxeq2 by accident, but fixed it. Some people got patched to it.

If you are having any odd issues at all, I would recommend doing the following. If you want to check to see if you have this 'debug' version, you can do this:
In the console type:
echo ${ISXEQ2.Version}

If you get this:
20121115.0110

Then follow these steps.
Close down ALL your Everquest2 sessions.
Go here:
http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/Extensions/ISXEQ2.dll
Download that file, and save it into /innerspace/extensions/
Some broswers/security settings/anti-virus/etc may complain about the type of file. You can get around/fix it by using google.

That's it. You should be able load and use ISXEQ2 again.
If you do this in the console:
echo ${ISXEQ2.Version}
You will notice we're on:
Something later than .0110.

I'm not sure what happened. I think perhaps I meant to upload isxeve but uploaded isxeq2 instead and it was a debug build or something.

Anyway, Kannkor's instructions are correct. I've upgraded everything now to version 0111, so if you're on version 0110 ("echo ${ISXEQ2.Version}") and it's not patching, then you'll need to download it manually. The process for doing this is as follows:
1. Shut EVERYTHING down related to EverQuest2 (all instances of it)
2. Download http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/Extensions/ISXEQ2.dll and place it in your /innerspace/Extensions folder ...overwriting the one that is there.

Do it once and then it will be back to normal.

EDIT: Oh, and FYI, you definately do not want to be running a debug build of isxeq2. It's not safe. So, if your "echo ${ISXQ2.Version} doesn't end with .0109 or .0111, then you REALLY want to overwrite it using the steps above.

The warpigs link now redirects back to the official location in case people are still (mistakenly) hitting it.

By not safe do you mean we should be preparing for ban/suspensions on accounts that used the debug build? Just wondering if I should be a bit more ready for that to happen (let's face it, we have to be ready for that at any time - it's the risk we take by using ISXEQ2, but if it's a greatly increased chance that's important to know too.)

There's no reason to take out the tin foil hat, no. But, it's definitely not something you want to use intentionally because it could have things in it that I've forgotten about that might not be safe for a "live" account. But, frankly, I suspect that things should be fine (my last message was more of a disclaimer 'just in case')

It's all a moot point now anyway since the patch today means everyone has to update anyway.
