Open world pvp

I'm interested in getting eq2bot bot to work in open world pvp not in the BG. According to the wiki all pvp restrictions were lifted some time ago. I don't wish to spend a month learning to script as I barely have to play and that's one of the reasons i bot because it's hard for me to keep committed to a guild or group.

What are my options?

If you want to use eq2bot for your own personal use, then you can edit your local copy. Anyone with an average IQ can learn to edit/manipulate lavishscript after about a month or two of one-two hours a night practice. NO ONE was born being able to script using lavishscript -- we all had to learn it.

I'm not sure what part of that was unclear. EQ2Bot (and all scripts) are written and maintained by regular users like you.


Most people are not comfortable with public releases of scripts that enable automated pvp play. Think about it -- if you had something that worked well in pvp, you'd not want to give it to your competition, now would you? No..I doubt anyone is going to do a public release of anything for pvp.

That is why I said in my last post that I don't want to waste my time learning how to script as I already get very limited playtime and I can as easily spend my time setting up my prior botting program to the same. I don't want a script for pvp, I just want bot to work in pvp with the same scripts even if they suck for pvp. My intention is not to hardcore pvp but to be able to defend my group when i get attacked.

According to the wiki all pvp restrictions are removed which is why i purchased the subscription I guess if I have to pay someone to write up a script to enable pvp I will. I rather pay than invest my precious free time which is such a limited commodity to me.

If someone is out there who will send me a script to enable pvp, open world for a donation let me know. I don't care about bg.

also, amadeus if you can recommend a good resource to learn lavish I will take into consideration as an option.

lol ...no one here wants to spend "precious time" scripting. Someone has to do it though.

And, yes, pvp support as added to isxeq2 in the past couple of years. But that involves the extension and makes it so that scripts WILL work when you write them (along with radar, etc.)

Learning lavishscript is a matter of reading through the script files and following the flow. You can look through eq2bot or any of the other ones posted here on the forums.

Using a program like ISXEQ2 is not for the impatient. Most people find it a reasonable tradeoff to spend a month learning how to do it and then the rest of your life gaming with the skills you learned.


Like I said, I doubt anyone is going to want to help you. Most pvp wankers want to keep any advantage they obtain to themselves. Personally, I think playing on the pvp servers is lame as hell, so I have no interest in it at all. My biggest suggestion is to re-roll on a non-pvp server and enjoy the real game that is EQ2 (along with eq2bot doing everything you need.)

No one in their right mind would write a pvp bot for you. The ISXEQ2 / multibot community as a whole keeps getting screwed over due to people botting on pvp servers. Also an afk bot on a pvp server is almost an instant ban. Have fun my friend
