Patch 11-7-07

After the small patch and long downtime today my program not working when i type ext isxeq2 it starts like it wants to patch then i just get booted.

Any idea on what the deal is?

Did you patch today?

If so, that's where you screwed up.

You should *NEVER* run EQ2.exe until the game won't load unless you patch (ie, when someone posts here that it is a "forced" patch.)

....you should always run EverQuest2.exe (just like what's explained in the setup for isxeq2 on the web.) Why would you patch when you are not required to do so?

watch your innerspace console (~ key in game) when trying to load isxeq2 with an invalid version, this should help you out.
