Pointless buff casting

Wizards keep recasting Converge over and over on the same configured target even though it's a permanent buff. Hey they even cast it when you turn Converge off on the options! Why is this?

This bug has been afflicting many a class for some time now. It has to do with the fact that the target of the buff sometimes (but not always) shows as the caster on your maintained spells. It has something to do with how the buff affects both the target as well as the caster. A work around is to open up the character config xml and manually type in the casters name, then buff it manually. Or to turn it off, empty that line in the xml.
