Problem running the Coercer Script

I 2 box, and use 2 seperate computesr, and I have the same issue on both computers. I updated my SVN files on one of them, but the problem still occurs. Now for the problem.

I can run eq2bot with no problems. But when i start teh bot, i get spikes from 60fps down to 1fps. The program lags out my pc. If i run eq2bot on my dirge, mystic, or zerker i dont have this problem. Only the coercer one. Any suggestions? as said before I already updated my svn files and replaced them on 1 computer to test these files but it made no difference.

I only replaced the eq2bot folder from my updated svn files.

Thank you for any input and help on this matter.

Updated.- I tested this on my other toons on both my accounts and computers and it is doing it on all my accounts now as well.

If I remember the slowdown is cause by a large 'scan' range for close mobs...I forget what it's called in the settings but reducing this value will reduce the slowdown.

Thank you for the reply, however, it was working perfectly the night before, and i have not changed anything. My scan range is set to 35 on both my computers for all my accounts. the only variable that i can imagine that it would be is my ISP, but i have a 10 meg connection. My main PC is an I7 quad core with 8gb's ram, so i cant imagine that its the PC.

Its just very weird that on saturday night it was working just fine, and then sunday i wake up and it no longer works. It limits my computer to 1fps on both computers i try it on.

I tried resetting my router and modem as well.

I can use the craft and eq2harvest and goharvest just fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks again for your help =)

The problem isnt limited to just the coercer stript anymore. It does it on my dirge, mystic, zerker and my coercer as well, and on both computers. It worked fine on saturday night, and i woke up and now it does the same issue on both computers i have. It only does this when i start the eq2bot program. all other programs like goharvest, eq2harvest, and craft all work perfect.

This happens to me when there is a training dummy up in the guild hall. Are you running this in an outside zone/instance or in a guild hall? Is a training dummy up?

Bob you are a genious. thank you so much for the tip. I tried it with and w/out the training dummy, and that seems to be the problem. Good to know for future references. Sure makes it hard if you are messing with the character scripts to test and see if its working right...well discreetly at least..

thanks again for your input and help on this matter. Was driving me bonkers.!

What's wierd is that it doesnt lag my wifes computer out, only mine. Shes an Intel Quad, Im an AMD dual. Shes got same GPU as I do and same memory. Basically the same EQ2/Innerspace dir also. But glad that fixed it... use the trainign wall in Kunzar if you need to check bots :/
