Program will not run

I've followed all the steps & spent hours going through the forums but cannot find an answer to the issues I've been having. I keep getting the message that I need the EQ2 exe from Nov.13 2007 along with a link, downloaded the link & overrode the old .exe but as soon as I start to log on the game updates & I get the same message. The program wont run eq2bot, eq2harvest, or radar. I know more than some about computers but I don't know scripting or major programing. If anyone can help me with this it would be great...I've had Lavish & ISXEQ2 for almost 2 weeks now & haven't been able to use it.

apparently you have not been going step by step. After you overwrite the exe with the older one, use the NO PATCH option in innerspace to startup your game.

As Hendrix said you must select the no patch option, as in right click on the inner space icon and select EQ2 and then no patch. I recently purchased the ROK expansion and after it updated, I then had to roll back the exe, however I believe I remember it being the day before the date it said I needed. However, if it is updating when you log on, then it can only be you are not selecting the no patch option as Hendrix said.

I think im experiencing the same problem here, I have to admit that i havent tried to reinstall the isxeq2 wich probably will fix the problem.
Been using eq2bot awhile now without any issues, but when i installed the new expansions (had none) i got this problem when trying to run isxeq2

Your version of EverQuest2.exe does not match this build of ISXEQ2.
The version that you need was the first executable patched on December 12, 2007.

did you go to http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/ like it said and get the December 12, 2007 exe and throw it over the exsisting one?

After you do that DO NOT USE THE STANDARD EQ2 LOGIN. The only exception is the day SOE does a forced patch. You will know when this happens.

Two ways to login the no patch way.

run Innerspace
right clicky the icon in your tray
click on config
click the game config tab from window that pop ups
pick your game from that drop down menu
then choose your profile from the drop down menu at the bottom
on this screen click Make Shortcut

now you can drag that to your quick launch or just leave on your desktop.

The other way is to just right click the innerspace icon in your tray and click your game.

I like the first way cause I'm lazy and like less clicking lol

Theres a saying i picked up from Under Siege 2 - Dark Territory... Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups..

I downloaded the .exe file, and it didnt work... that was because i assumed that the newest one was the exe file i needed. /bonk
I gotta learn to read the instructions better and pick the correct one on the first try instead

Vert, don't be too hard on yourself. If at first you don't succeed try try again. Trial and error sucks but it works right? I like your saying BTW.
