Question w/ Windows 7 and ISXEQ2 Windows

Been using ISXEQ2 for awhile now. Have 3 machines I run it on with the last of the 3 being a new Alienware M17X with Windows 7 (XP was not an option). My other 2 PCs (one a desktop and the other a laptop) both run XP.

Running multiple instances of ISXEQ2 on my XP machines is a cake walk. My new Windows 7 box is totally maxxed out. I can run 5 or 6 toons easily on it from a hardware perspective.

What's different though is how my "eq windows" works. I used to run all my different ISX sessions and just leave my "primary toon" on top. Note none of my windows are full screen, they are just resized to fit most of the screen. My problem is:

1) I cannot minimize any of my eq2 sessions or they stop running, so they all need to be running what I would call "in the foreground" even if the focus is on one machine.

2) My bigger issue (and my primary gripe) is with alt-tab'ing between my EQ2 windows. On XP I could just alt tab and it would cycle focus between EQ2 sessions to the char I wanted to see. Now, however the tabbing is acting all funky and I actually have to minimize the eq2 session that has the current focus then alt tab and choose the right session to pull up.

This is all kind of hard to explain (and I'm new to Windows 7), but I'm going crazy over here just trying to get this box to run like my other two.

Any advice out there (aside from rebuilding the laptop all together with Win XP)?

Thanks

dont "minimize", just swap windows (and "minimize" killed eq2 for me in xp as well, surprised it worked for you back then).

no comment re your alt-tab issue, i don't have that prob (7 ultimate, alt tab between 3xEQ2 and typing this right now).

I used IS boxer and life worked great on Windows 7.

I setup num pad 1 - 4 to swap between my toons.

for your alt tabbing issue, the only time ive run into that is if i fullscreen a client and go back to windowed. happens in pretty much any game ive tried it in with innerspace.

A minimized window has 0 framerate. All of our scripts process X executions per frame. If there are no frames, no scripts execute.

Thats overly simplified, but it gets the point across.
