this is going to sound lazy, but I promise you its for good reason. Prior to your default profiles I was always seeing "can you show me yours" types of questions. Seeing the defaults just give us (me) some assurance were on the right track for our own....or how far off track. For me, I would like to see how peeps are using the multiple chain tabs.....tricks for increased DPS.....and increased survivability via healing setups. The Defaults prior to chain tab changes (troub changes) were a great baseline......I'd like to see the baseline reset again if possible. thanks!

I won't be doing this anytime soon. The current defaults are still a viable baseline to get people started. In my opinion I see no reason to update all 24 classes again for one change of OgreBots code. They still work just fine.

Same, they are there as samples, not something that I will maintain to be "the best". It's enough work to do them, that it makes it a pain in the ass. Let alone trying to do (6/12/18/24) of them.
I asked for people to submit them when we didn't have any, so new users / existing users had a baseline on how the bot setup is done.

Ive found that for the most part you end up customizing the default profiles quite a bit. I made most of the profile i use on my team and have gone back and compared them to some of the posted ones. I will try and post a few of mine own if i can get the pics to post right.... (bit of a forum noob)... i have a good profile for the conjy except when the pet gets too far away. Such is the life.

ok, so back to original defaults....none have Chains working in them. Is there a way to convert old chains to new chain1?
Also, with changes to chain tabs i would love to see how peeps are using the multiple chain tabs for Bruisers & Assasins. How about reducing my request to those 2?

I just went through and updated all the profiles with chain tabs so they now load properly again. If you want to get these, you will have to ISXOgre
atch[1] (make sure to re-run your spell exports after you do this).Please note, I simply fixed the existing profiles, none of them are "new".

I just went through and updated all the profiles with chain tabs so they now load properly again. If you want to get these, you will have to ISXOgre

Not to say "default profiles shouldn't exist", but I don't think they should be a focus of dev. time at the moment...
What makes ogre shine is optimizing your group. For example, what makes a great illusionist time warp chain is going to really depend on your re-use and such (ie do i want to wait and hold certain thigns for this, or use them?) Is power an issue, or can we ommit the illy and troub power taps and get more dps instead? What do I want my defiler to do...what buffs do I want...do I want hp buff on myself and the tank? What if there's a necro there? Etc..you really need to take the time to tweak the profiles for your particular group, or you won't be doing nearly as much as you could.
The other issue is how often SOE changes things completely. (For example troubadors got a single target spell changed into an AOE with a longer cooldown). Keeping track of all that is hard even with one or two classes.
However:
If you look at the warpigs site, the default profiles posted are generally decent. Also look and adapt cannopener's old version profiles, I feel they are well thought out.

This is my primary reason for it. I feel the time I spend developling, is better spent elsewhere, with bug fixes/features etc.
The second reason is it's just annoying to do
I appreciate you taking the time to do this. I hope u realize that it "is" time well spent as we always see the question of, "hey, can you show me your setup". yes, most of us with over a few days of using Ogre makes tweaks to the setups based on our own grps, but the defaults help give a baseline and some guidance to allot of users. Especially for those (me included) that pwr level a new toon and don't really know all the ins/outs. Again, thanks for updating the chain tabs. I do appreciate it....I know I'm not alone!
