SOLUTION: ISX not patching

Patched?

So does this mean that we are all patched? I seem to be having some type of issue. When I startup I see the following in the console:

Global Bind 'is1_key' could not be added
binds=bind -list
GlobalBinds=GlobalBind -list
[RadarZoomIn] [ALT+num +] Command (Release): radar zoomin
bind 'RadarZoomOut' failed: Could not parse key combination
ALT+num
Extension 'isxvg' loaded
And then if I try to run any script I get:

Extension 'isxvg' is already loaded
VGC: ISXVG Not loaded or updating... Waiting...
And it never completes downloading.

I have updated the .dll from the link above...not sure if I am missing a step.

You should load ISXVG and then wait for the patcher/authenticator to finish its business.

I'm not sure why this is being an issue with isxvg. However, I don't have the old dll to test it anymore.

Interesting

Interesting - so when I unloaded isxvg it crashes and tries to generate an error file, but rather than letting me report the error, it just closes that small window.

Gimme a sec and I will get you the actual information you requested in the "How to Report a Crash" thread :p

Was also not patching for me. I reinstalled isxvg. still didn't work. Just installed the dll you posted earlier in this thread and it patched and started working. Thanks a bunch.

You are all playing in 'windowed' mode, right? ISXVG does not work well in 'full screen mode'.

So I have 3 machines upon which I run VG. Of these 3 machines, 1 of them was able to patch ISXVG and the other two did not.

The only difference between the 3 installs is that I am using a custom UI on the 2 machines that are not updating (Darker 2.0). So I went ahead and went back to the Default UI on the other 2 machines, but still no luck. I understand that this was a long shot, but I really cannot think of any difference between the machines:

1. They are all connected to the router via wireless NIC

2. They all have the same versions of InnerSpace and ISXVG.

3. They all have the exact same anti-virus and windows firewall (I disabled both the Anti-Virus and Firewall when trying to patch the two machines that are not working).

4. All are running WinXP and updated to the latest ver

I reinstalled InnerSpace and ISXVG (plus updated the .dll from this thread), but still no luck. I am just trying to think of what else to try...

autopatching didnt work on any of my 5 machines. all in windows mode. 4 of the machines identical hardware. windows xp 32bit, windows xp 64bit, windows vista 32 bit, windows vista 64 bit.

FYI.. windows vista 64bit is the most stable running multiple instances of isxvg and scripts. but none of them patched automatically

Strange....if anyone has an old copy of the OLD dll ...be sure to attach it to this thread so I can see if I can figure out why this is happening.

When I get home tonight I'll make a new installer. That should work for most everyone until I figure out what isn't working as it should (and why)

Interesting - again

So there was an InnerSpace patch today. Once it was dl'd it actually required me to redo my ISXVG username and pw and erased my configs. After that, ISXVG loaded and updated no problems, so that is definitely a good thing. :)

Really interesting...

So I got home, booted up PC #3, no InnerSpace update, no ISXVG update. Weird. Gonna try a reinstall of both like I did on the other PC to see if it kicks something into gear.
