This is no longer an issue as ISXEQ2 was updated. It should work regardless of the pet selection.
Special thanks to Reddo on IRC for figuring this out.
Some symptoms:
BL won't buff it's pet.
You get spammed by Sending pet to attack...
To fix:
In the character window (default key is c), select Warder tab, and select the same pet you have summoned.
This is a very easy and simple fix. I'm going to give a few examples of when it's broken, and when it's fixed.
Broken when: You have a Dire pet summoned, and in your character window, then Warder tab, in the drop down it reads Bat.
Fixed when: You have a Dire pet summoned, and in your character window, then Warder tab, in the drop down it reads Dire pet.
The technical information behind it:
ISXEQ2's Me.Pet info returns NULL when it's 'Broken when'.
ISXEQ2's Me.Pet info returns the correct values when it's 'Fixed when'.
