Also seems to only happen on moderate wo's...seems fine on easy.

I even set the quaility to zero to see what would happen and it still spammed quailty to 51%

Factional Work Orders from New Targanor

The descriptions are set up in a different way so the bot does not pick them up when it goes to get new work orders.

How do i get a full reliable copy of a work order from there besides transcribing it word for word?
First of all on the list of the work orders it does not say batch or set or anything
Also it seems to list all 3 blacksmithing sub professions.. Armor Smithing, Blacksmithing, and Weapon Smithing all on the same NPC

Heres a rough copy of the description

Difficulty: Very Easy
Skill: Armor Smithing
Create barding rivets for Shani of New Targonor.
This is a small job that can reward you
with both money and items

There is a recipie in your recipe book for this work order
Requested items: 3 Barding Rivets


Anyway we can get the bot to correctly parse these work orders and pick them up?

I'll need the info from your InnerSpace/script/vgcraft/save/<Name>/xxcraft-output.log file. Paste it to this site but be sure to remove your Toons info from the first few lines.

yea that is happening when you do WOs from those guilds in ahgram for example.

im having also some problem with high level . . . the bot lose way too often WOs

in the third foruth step it keeps using a greyed out action . . .

I just had the chance to check out the way the new scripting works that was redone and I seem to be having some problems.

I dont Manually do work orders, my crafter is on a second box so i like to have him 100% auto, just leaving the character to do work orders through-out the day and night.

The pathing seemed good, but after a few runs from the work order to the station the character seemed to not want to follow the pointed pathing anymore. So he would go from the work order straight to the crafting station on his own pathing. The problem with this is, he runs into a fence doing it that way and just sits there until the program times itself out.

He is suppose to run from work order to the specified point and run around the fence and then to the crafting station.

Wondering why after a few trips he just suddenly goes his own way and runs into the fence and removes himself from the pathing.

firestorm, not sure I would post those as they are. Since this is outside the bounds of the eula I don't think you want people knowing who you are, as given in the logfiles. There's lots of giveaway info in those files. :confused:

Issues

The bot is STILL pumping extra quality. If I tell it to stop at 34% then it should do quality/progress until 34% and then ONLY pump progress unless quality drops below 34%. I am failing close to 70% of my work orders because of this. It pumps in early stages and has no AP to finish later stages.

It is using Softener:Minor Application (50ap, Very Low progress/quality) over and over instead of using Softener: Soften Material (75ap, mod progress) which is another huge factor in being out of AP and unable to complete the recipe.

I am an outfitter doing T4 WOs.

Bot still running off course and running into shit for no reason.

also for those having huge issues with doors, are you in 3rd person view? I was having issue as well, but problem is the function that opens the door I think actually just clicks in the middle of the screen.? I switched to first person and it works ok now.

He has a fix coming for several situations where it tries to pump more quality than it should, in the next version.

i created a blacksmith, i tryed to start using vgcraftbot on him at level 3, but it doesnt recognize that there are any work orders, when there are 20+ of them, i have all checked for specifying the difficulty. vgcraftbot works fine on my artificer

EDIT: This probably means that your ISXVG was in the process of updating itself.

Make sure it has finished updating, then re-run the script.

To get the window back I had to endscript vgcraftbot and then runscript vgcraftbot..gave it like 5 seconds and it came up.

May or may not help. Hope it does.

I'm having the problem with "adding extra items to table", a smart thing would be that if you could set youreself what items it should select to use at the table, cause im getting same complication all the time that fucksup my WO's and i cant adjust the bot to select the items i want.

Pumping too much quality

Script is even worse now at pumping quality, i cannot complete a tier 3 work order for the life of me. i set the quality all the way down and it still pumps to B quality. (im doing moderates).

This script pumps quality on tier3 to A even if pump quality if NOT selected. =/ I can fix it, i'm sure, haven't looked yet. Just giving you a heads up.

The 0.98 autopatched one crashed me to desktop.. dont know if it is because of vgcraftbot or some change in isxvg.. since they're both autopatching nowadays...

Gone are the days of controlling working releases.. I'd like an option - autoupdate yes/no.

Should be able to decline autoupdate, not only does it overwrite any modifications I may have made ot better suit me. I hate to patch and lose functionality.

If you check the 'Debug' option, does it say "Pumping EXTRA Quality"?

Because it should never try to do that if you have that option turned off.

EDIT:

I had a typo in one of the Quality checking routines which would cause it to go crazy on the Quality (in Stage 3, doExtraQuality, apPercent > 25%, only 1 step in stage, progress > 50% and Quality < 850). I had it as apLeft > 25 instead of apPercent > 25.

Fixed and should auto-update next time you run script.

If you don't want it to auto-update, create a file called VGCraftBot.iss.nopatch in your scripts directory.

EDIT:

NOTICE
I will no longer be releasing .zip files, so if you want to turn off auto-update and mod the script yourself, you will also be responsible for getting your own updates/fixes, etc.

EDIT2:
The auto-update creates backups off all the files it updates, so your changes would have been saved as <filename>.backup1, <filename>.backup2, etc.

im doing panels for my house, i was doing just fine using the "non automated bot" option . . . ( v79a )

it would open the table for me select resources and stop waiting for me to select the first action after this would just do fine . . .

but now ( v81 ) its crashing everytime on step 2

Ok, fixed. Was missing an (exist) check. Should update when you run the script next.

The Extra items code is being reworked and added to the UI so you can set it easier. This problem should be fixed at the same time.

I saw that happen once also, not sure why, but I'll take a look at the code and see if there is anything I can do about it.

Yeah, there seems to be an issue with 'Pause' and 'Auto Add extra' items code. I'll add it to the todo list.

Major Problems with Tier 3 Blacksmithing WO's

Im lvl 31 blacksmith now. On just about any pyrite WO it will fail miserably by pumping way too much quality.. I also dont think its taking into account that there is sometimes a utility step on the last section.

I attached my log for one attempt at a item.

Not sure if you have made some custom mods to the scripts or not, but it works perfectly on my machine. In fact, I can toggle the setting while it's working on a script and it will stop pumping Extra Quality instantly.

I read through that debug file and not ONCE did it try to pump extra Quality.
At the Quality increasing step, it got Quality up to your min (269) but in every other step in picked the highest Progress action:

The script tries to pick the Highest progress action at each stage. Sometimes that action also increases Quality, but the script is NOT trying to pump extra Quality.

Can you complete those same Moderate work orders by hand?
If so, then what actions did you choose that would have been different than the script?

Because from your debug.log file it looks like you failed because of all the complications that happened.

I have to agree that it still seems to forget that it takes point to get through the first part of the last step. This may be an observation error but it seems to do it on a regular basis.

Actually the button for pumping quality "DOES" work on tier3 combines, When you hit tier4, IT will always pump quality to the point that it either runs out of fuel or hits 100%. Something is definately not right with tier4. My guy will keep grabbing same WO and pump it till he fails every combine rinse and repeat. I've even seen the bot trying to activate a grayed out step over and over again until I run out of AP in tier4. Blacksmithing and Outfitter having same issue.

No work orders available, going to sleep?

I am having a problem when using the Full Auto crafting. The script will walk my character from the station to the WO npc, when the list comes up it is completely populated with WO's. However the script returns the message "No work orders available from Erkane Landeral, going to sleep"

I am crafting in HZ. I have the WO levels set to all and have tried doing easy, trivial, etc and it still does the same thing.

Is this a known issue or would there be something wrong with the way my path is setup?

Would this work to only select batch and set's? I noticed the name has it in it so it's an easy way to check. I'm at work so I can't check but can someone throw this in craft-workorder.iss in the GetWorkOrder() function before the call SkillCheck ${sReqSkill} section.

If this works we can easy add a section in the xml config file for which ones we want to do. The only thing about this I don't know how it will work if there is nothing in batch/set with the difficulty rating so it would be best to select mod/easy/very easy to cover them all.

Although it stops at second stage, you can do that manually and the vgcraftbot will pick up and do whatever it can (especially complications which is the worst part-everything else can be hotkeyed). Not ideal, but is a workaround until Xeon has a chance to update it.

Ok, I added a quick hack that I think should work.

NOTE: I have not tested this AT ALL, as I am at work without game access. But it can't be anymore broken than it is currently :evil:

Not sure if it was mentioned.

Each tier (moderate, easy, very easy etc..) the first two or three are the best exp awards per item..

I have gotten in the habit of always abandoning the task and reselecting it. There is no loot bags like this, or faction hits, but the exp per item is much higher.

Any chance of getting a check box that toggles completing/abandoning the current set of tasks when going to the taskmaster? :)

Of course, this assumes the current breakage is fixable.

So instead of turning in the crafted WO items, just drop them, abandon the WO and reselect the same ones again?

BTW, that won't work at lower levels because the turn in XP is 3-4x the crafting XP.

I suppose it could be done, but it'd be a lot of work and I'd rather spend coding time on re-writing the AI, adding the ability to do non-work order recipes, etc.

I've been doing that manually for the past 20 levels, the ability to keep the workorders without running out is a bonus. No rewards or exp on turn in of course, but nice for pounding exp.

On the temporary fix, test, no change, still does the same thing, stops at second task in bar.


Edit: it works partially, sometimes it will pick up and do the next task after a complication, other times it will stall.

Edit Add comment: I think the pause the second time is comingwhen it needs to change toolbelt.

1st 2 or 3 from the top? Bottom? 1st 2 or 3 you make? BTW, the tier divider line should shift by 1 WO lvl every time you level.

Toughest are at the top, so the first couple for whatever diffculty you prefer.

Idea on the turning code.

It looks like it gets stuck in the endless spin because of the "precision" of the angle and the framerate of the client. The way it appears is that it skips the sweet spot and keeps turning until it hits it. If the sweet spot was missed during a rendered frame it may never see it.

In mq2 scripts I was able to correct/"make more human" by turning to a larger angle with a slow turn, then snapping to the exact angle at the last instant for precision.

I am new to isx, so I am not familiar with its functionality and whether this is even feasible. I am just bored and mulling things over while waiting for the your excellent bot to be up and running again :)

Yep, that's exactly what's happening.... and I think that hack would work just fine :yea:

A quick fyi for whatever its worth, i just comleted 3 batch workorders without it stopping once. It did not have to change toolbelts, so that might narrow it down.
