The Authentication Server did not send...

Innerspace is patched and subscribed, ISXEQ2 is installed at 2009616.0033 and subscribed, and EverQuest2.exe is the 6/16 patch. But when I load up EQ2 I get this message:

"The Authentication Server did not send the information that ISXEQ2 expected to receive. If you feel as though you are receiving this message in error, please contact Amadeus at amadeusmq@yahoo.com.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or overlooking? It's easily possible that I fu'ed something up on my end, so I'm posting here instead of in e-mail.

I haven't seen that one before. You could try checking ISXEQ2.xml in Innerspace\Extensions and make sure it looks like this:

<Setting Name="ZoomOutBindKey">ALT+num -</Setting>

Why would you post on the forums when the message says to send an email?




Anyway, shut down EQ2 entirely ..and delete /innerspace/Extensions/ISXEQ2.xml and try again.

If that doesn't work, then shut down EQ2 entirely and try editing the file manually as shown above.

Just an FYI, that happened a couple times recently, to me and a couple of friends around the same day.

Editing the file didn't work for me, but deleting it did.
