Have not played since the Rum Cellar announcement, what have i missed? is it worth jumping back in? botting still ok as long as you dont mess with people? Level cap is still 100? WTF is an Ascended Class?

While I don't want to scare you away... the hardest thing about coming back right now, is you still have the epic 2.0 grind ahead. While it's not hard, it's a lot of old grey questing. And it's basically required (basically increases your damage by 30-50%).

Super super easy, and crazy rewarding, especially if you are just coming back. I'd likely do the days of summer thing first (no combat, lots of free gear, and 50 free potency tithe etc). Yes, free.

Once you get past the epic 2.0 grind, as long as you can over look the pay 2 win aspect of ascension, then you can have fun again.

LOL, awesome write up, very helpful. im still not sure if how many toon ill play, might just duo through the current exp and see and wait for more info on the new exp since thats what peaked my interest. I assume it wont be all of the POP zones and the ones they give us will be small but we shall see.

Not to mention i feel dirty giving DBG money...
