ToV - "Bot issues" and solutions

With the latest ISXEQ2, and a lot of changes that happened, some people are having issues that can be resolved.

1) If you are getting a version mismatch.
---> Patch Everquest 2 via SOE's Launchpad.

2) "Group" things aren't working. Such as assisting, buffing etc.
---> Close all your EQ2 sessions, then load ONE session only. Load ISXEQ2. You should be on version 20131112.0002 or higher.

3) My bot won't "engage" or "fight". With this patch, many abilities that you previously had to cast, are now passive. They simply exist behind the scenes. The bot doesn't know this. You need to remove these from the bot.
---> In Ogrebot, on the "Debug" tab, select the TOP option only. Then watch the console. It will tell you what ability, and what tab it is casting it from. You will see it getting "stuck" on an ability. You can investigate why (such as the ability no longer exists) and remove it from the bot.

4) Inire has a weird cure curse issue...

You're going to need to be a "slight" bit more specific, otherwise I'll have to answer you equally as vague, such as "is your computer on?".

That's because Amadeus fixes it at night, then the next morning SOE breaks it again. Then Amadeus fixes it, then SOE breaks it again the next morning. It's the expansion for you - daily forced patches.

This too is pretty vague, if you are referring to the patch today check this page out https://www.isxgames.com/support.html or download an IRC client like MIRC or Icechat.

If you haven't be able to log in since the Xpac release I'd bet this will help http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/Extensions/ISXEQ2.dll However you will still need to wait for Amadeus to patch ISXEQ2 to the current version. It needs to be installed into the Innerspace/Extensions folder.

Hopefully this is on topic. Warrior's using Dragoon's Cyclone will need to remove from their Buff list. The same is true for Crusaders' Trample. These are both Passive now.

 

[Scoops]

Same with Wide Swings (Enchanter) and Surrounding Attacks (Predator), for the same reason.
